The canner was a holiday gift, and immediately put to use to brine the Christmas turkey. It worked great and held up under freezing temperatures outside, no rusting, no leaks, and just the right size. We'll actually use it for canning as soon as we can! It didn't come with tongs or other canning utensils, but it was easy to buy them at the same time.

The Granite Ware 21 1/2 quart canner with rack and lid arrived in good time and great condition. It is exactly what I had anticipated in size, texture, weight and looks.

I looked everywhere for this pot and for the canning accessories, and couldn't find them in any store near my house. A store about an hour away supposedly had the canner and the accessories included for something like $70. I found both on Amazon (separately) and paid way, way less, and they were both delivered to my home in a few days. I made applesauce and apple butter and everything came out great.
